Memorial Day weekend 2016 has arrived. A time to memorialize, remember, the deeds of valor done for us. Started three years after the Civil War to pay respect to the fallen, it was originally called Decoration Day and observed in May as spring flowers are plentiful. Memorials are built as reminders.
